VSO is proud to partner with Piedmont Virginia Bird Club for a morning field trip to Bellair Farm near Charlottesville, VA.

Saturday, November 9, 2024 – 8:00 – 11:00 am

Address: 5290 Bellair Farm, Charlottesville, VA 22902. Park near the Barn. Carpool if you can.

Led by field trip leader Scott Connuck, we will start near the barn and walk through the dirt road that circles through the rolling hills, fields and pastures, about 2.5 miles total.

The road is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

Please dress warmly with good sturdy shoes for possible mud. Bring water/snacks as needed.

Possible highlights include Wilson's Snipe, Northern Harrier, Eastern

Meadowlark, American Kestrel, Common Raven, winter sparrows, and many more.
